Our spring 2010 musical theater workshop provides a unique and fun experience for children ages 7-18. All children will rehearse and perform an adapted full-length version of a terrific Broadway-style musical. Additionally, kids ages 7-10 will also perform in a musical revue, as well as being in the ensemble (group numbers) of the full performance with the older kids (ages 11-18). This spring, the show will be Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. The full-length show will be taught and directed by Dolores Aguanno, and the musical revue will be taught and directed by Talia Thiesfield.

WORKSHOP HOURS
Rehearsals begin on Saturday, February 20, 2010
Ages 11-18: Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Ages 7-10: Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Plan for additional rehearsals on some Friday afternoons from after school until 6:00 PM and for longer hours on Saturday as the performances grow nearer!
WORKSHOP LOCATION
Culver West Park
4162 Wade Avenue, Culver City
(Note: Friday afternoon rehearsals will be at Veteran's Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave)
AUDITIONS
Auditions are for placement only - no one will be turned away!
If you've peformed with dee-Lightful in the past 6 months, no need to audition.
Just sign up, and show up :-)
If you are brand new, WELCOME! Once you sign up, the director will call you to arrange for an audition day and time. Be sure to include your phone numbers when signing up!
WORKSHOP FEES
Workshop fee $470 Culver City Residents, $480 non-residents
Materials fee per session: $250, nonrefundable and due on first day, February 20.
Among other things, the materials fee covers the cost of scripts, CDs, costume parts, storage space, etc.
