Our Fall Workshop is now underway
and closed to new participants.
Hope to see you at the show!  :-)
Performances scheduled for January 15-17

Our Fall Workshop will begin on Saturday, October 18, and will run on Saturday afternoons from 2:00-5:00 PM, with some additional rehearsals on Friday afternoons after school.
Please read on for more info!

LIMITED ENROLLMENT/WAITING LIST (New)

If you already told us (before Sept 23) that you were planning to attend the workshop, you are on our participant list, and we will see you at the orientation on Saturday, October 18th! Please see our updated REGISTRATION information below!

If you did not previously tell us, and you would like to be on our waiting list (in case any spots open up), s
end an e-mail to us at deelightfulproductions@gmail.com and let us know your name and age, and we will let you know as soon as we can if it will be possible for you to join!

ORIENTATION & AUDITIONS
We will have a mandatory orientation for all workshop participants and one parent or guardian starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 18 at Culver Park West, 4162 Wade Street, Culver City.  Orientation will last for about an hour, after which parents/guardians may leave, and we will spend the next two hours with preliminary auditions and starting to get familiar with the script, the songs, and each other! Kids, for the preliminary audition, please prepare a song that you know and love, preferably a show tune. You will sing your song a cappella, meaning without any background music.  This is so we can start to get to know you and your voice!

WORKSHOP HOURS
Regular rehearsals begin on Saturday, October 25, and will run from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.  Plan for some additional rehearsals on Friday afternoons or early evenings and longer hours (as early as 12:00 noon and as late as 6:00 PM) on Saturdays as the shows get closer!

WORKSHOP LOCATION
Saturday afternoon rehearsals will be at Culver West Park, 4162 Wade Street, Culver City
Friday afternoon rehearsals will be in the Vet's complex, 4117 Overland Ave, Culver City

PERFORMANCES
We will likely have 4 performances (all kids are in all performances!) between January 15-18, 2015.  The shows will be directed by Allegra Williams and produced by Dolores Aguanno.

WORKSHOP & MATERIALS FEES
For Culver City residents, the total cost of participation is $830
For non-Culver City residents, the total cost of participation is $846

There are two separate payments, both due at orientation on Saturday, October 18th:
1) a workshop fee of $495 for Culver City residents or $506 for non-residents, due at orientation and payable to "City of Culver City"
2) a materials fee of $335, non-refundable, due at orientation, and payable to "dee-Lightful Productions"  The materials fee covers the cost of scripts, CDs, some production costs, etc. Kids will receive a script & CD at the orientation.

REGISTRATION (New)

If you are on our participant list (please see the limited enrollment/waiting list section at the top of this page) and you have not yet registered at the Culver City Parks & Recreation office, you should now plan to register at the orientation on Saturday, October 18th BY CHECK ONLY*. Since you will also be paying materials fees at the orientation, please bring TWO SEPARATE CHECKS, one for the workshop fee and one for the materials fee (see directly above for prices).

*If you wish to pay for the workshop by credit card instead of check, the Parks & Rec office will be accepting credit card payments in person for one week only, between October 20-25. The office is located at 4117 Overland Ave (in the back of the building).  They are open M-F from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (310) 253-6650
