Summer Camp 2013
DANCE CAMP - One Week Only: June 24-28
Under the direction of Cindera Che, choreographer, dancer and veteran teacher! With other guest dance teachers and dee-Lightful summer camp staff, this week-long dance camp develops your child's body awareness and dance skills. Classes include ballet/jazz combo, tap and hip hop. Students will also learn muscle structure. A demonstration for invited guests on Friday evening (June 28) will include choreography learned during the week! It will be a fun-filled, confidence-building week! Limited enrollment. MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS - two 4-week sessions
Children ages 7-17 will have a blast rehearsing and performing two fabulous Broadway-style musicals this summer during our two 4-week summer sessions! Daily activities include acting, dance, and singing instruction, arts and crafts, outdoor play, swimming and surprise guest artists.

Session I: The Little Mermaid, Jr. Session II: The Music Man, Jr.
July 1-27 (no camp on July 4) July 30 (Tuesday)-August 24
SUMMER CAMP DATES & HOURS
Dance Camp: June 24-28
Session I: Monday, July 1 through Friday July 26 (no camp on July 4)
with performances on July 25, 26 and 27
Session II: Tuesday, July 30 through Friday, August 23
with performances on August 22, 23 and 24
Camp hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays
Extended hours available from 8:00-9:00 AM and 5:00-6:00 PM
Note: Some show dates/times are on the weekend following the last Friday of camp, please plan accordingly (i.e. don't leave on vacation quite yet!)

DANCE CAMP FEES ONLY
Tuition fee for one-week dance camp: $260 Culver City Residents, $271 for non-residents
Materials fee: $35, nonrefundable and due at Orientation
MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMP FEES
Tuition fee per session: $995 Culver City Residents, $1006 for non-residents
Extended care fee per week: $50 per week, payable at the beginning of the week
Materials fee per session: $295, nonrefundable and due at Orientation
Among other things, the materials fee covers the cost of royalties, scripts, CDs, t-shirts, swimming fees, production supplies and more.
ORIENTATION (Mandatory For Everyone)
Orientation will be on Saturday, June 15 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM
Orientation is for everyone, kids and parents alike. Don't forget your parents, kids! And parents, don't forget your check books to pay materials fees - this will allow us to give your child a script & CD of the show to take home right then and there!
AUDITIONS (For New Campers Only)
Auditions for musical theatre summer camp will be immediately following the orientation, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 15. If you are brand new to dee-Lightful, please plan to stay for the audition. If you've peformed with dee-Lightful in the past year, you do not need to audition. Auditions are for placement only - no one will be turned away! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Just bring a song and a smile!
No auditions necessary for dance camp.
